Kilcattan bay Via Glencallum Bay loop Saturday 31st March

The Slackers are are back in walking action next weekend , when they will walk the Kilcattan bay loop of the West Island Way, on the sunny Isle of Bute.this is a re-schedule of a prevoiusly planned walk.

Saturday 31st March 10:00 am Wemyss bay Ferry terminal

  1. The wind direction and strength is ALWAYS important to the pilot who should develop an awareness of what effect the moving air mass is having on the aircraft. In an ideal world in order to land with as low a ground speed as possible the runway for landing is always that closest to 'into' wind.

    1. Hi Anonymous, I do not believe Wikipedia to be a "trusted source" for civil aviation matters.

      These conditions may apply to Sunday morning and paper areoplane pilots but certainly not applicable to the professionals seen at Kilcatten bay Yesterday.
